The critically acclaimed series follows the cat-and-mouse game between British intelligence operative Eve Polastri and international assassin Villanelle. People who watch Killing Eve tend to gravitate toward well-written, character-driven dramas that are carefully crafted and critically adored. For example, people who enjoy Killing Eve are 6X more likely to watch similarly brainy BBC dramas like Taboo starring Tom Hardy and Luther with Idris Elba. They're also 5X more likely to be drawn to dark American thrillers, including Sinner with Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman, Netflix's Ozark with Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, and Hulu's The Handmaiden's Tale with Elisabeth Moss.

Unsurprisingly, Killing Eve fans have a taste for British and international shows in general, as they are also 6X more likely to watch BBC One's Happy Valley, and almost 5X more likely to watch The Fall with Gillian Anderson and Broadchurch with David Tennant. They are also 4X as likely to enjoy Peaky Blinders, Sherlock, and BBC One's Poldark.

Killing Eve also seems to appeal to fans because of its strong female leads. At least, that’s what we’re inferring from the fact that those who love Killing Eve are 5X more likely to enjoy HBO's Big Little Lies starring Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, as well as the glass-ceiling-shattering Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime.

FINAL FINDINGS

Killing Eve fans have eclectic taste in television, favoring both dramas and comedies with sophisticated storytelling that place complex characters at the center of the action. This includes shows that use framing devices such as nonlinear storytelling and unreliable narrators that keep audiences guessing. Though interestingly, that list of shows doesn’t include Fleabag, the hilarious and inventive breakout hit from Killing Eve creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Killing Eve audiences also tend to enjoy other British productions that share similar themes and tones to the spy thriller. Shows such as Broadchurch, Taboo, and Luther, which feature twists and turns within their narrative structure along with in-depth character analysis, are more likely to nab the attention of the Killing Eve fanbase.

Furthermore, Killing Eve fans who like the dynamic between the two leads will enjoy similar programming that also features strong female characters as the center of the story. Shows such as Homeland and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will likely appeal to a fanbase drawn to complex characters.
