Watchworthy is a free personalized recommendation app that accurately builds users their own watchlists for all their favorites and helps them discover new shows from over 200 streaming services such as Netflix, HBO, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, AppleTV+, and many more. By swiping right and left for as little as 30 seconds, users can instantly learn the probability that they’ll like or dislike any TV show with a “worthy” score.

Watchworthy can be a daily utility for everyone who’s overwhelmed with too many TV options and frustrated with the cumbersome experience of navigating in and out of apps to find something to watch - that has to be every cord cutter out there. Your Watchworthy Watchlist will ultimately take the place of what used to be your DVR list or your cable TV channel guide. Watchworthy solves a problem where technology has actually made an experience worse - people can now have a centralized and personalized watchlist again.

Watchworthy is uniquely powered by Ranker’s proprietary machine learning platform, Ranker Insights, applying a treasure trove of first-party correlation data amassed over a decade from one billion votes on Ranker.com. Thus making Watchworthy the only statistically relevant, crowd-sourced recommendation app uniquely using psychographic correlation data available to consumers.

Coming soon are movie recommendations, enterprise solutions and apps for smart TV’s, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Chrome.

Based in the heart of Los Angeles, Watchworthy and parent company Ranker have over 115+ employees and are continuing to show profit and growth. Check out some of our latest media coverage below. For all press inquiries, please email dshane@ranker.com.

Clark Benson

CEO & Founder

Launched in 2009, Ranker is Benson’s fifth startup. Ranker was conceptualized out of two things - Benson’s personal love of lists, and the concept that the wisdom of the crowd is better than one expert’s opinion.
Prior to Ranker, Benson’s company, eCrush, an early social network for teens, was bought by Hearst Corporation in 2006.

In his spare time, you can find Benson traveling to concerts and festivals. He saw more than 100 bands perform in both 2015 and 2018. A published author, Benson co-wrote the book College: Your Guide To The Best Five Years of Your Life. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Jenifer, and twins, Austin and Zani.

A New Way to Find TV Shows to Binge: Watchworthy App Claims Instant Personalized Recommendations

“In the time of “Netflix and quarantine,” more people than ever are looking for the next great TV show to binge-watch. But with literally tens of thousands of titles across multiple streaming services, it’s tough to zero in on the ones you’re most likely to love.”

Watchworthy’s personalized TV recommendation app will help you find your next binge

“While there are already a number of apps promising to offer TV recommendations — like Reelgood, TV Time, Yidio and JustWatch, for example — Watchworthy’s advantage is Ranker’s data powering its recommendations.”
