After winning the 2020 World Series this October, the second championship to be won this year by a team from our hometown of Los Angeles, it seems only fitting that we at Ranker took a look at the LA Dodgers and how they rank on some of our most popular lists.

First off, it’s worth noting that our fans correctly predicted the outcome of this year’s MLB postseason, much as they did with the NBA. The Dodgers are the #1 pick on our list of the teams Most Likely to Win the 2020 World Series — and just in case you think they cheated, voting on the list has been closed since February of this year, long before the 2020 regular season began.

Next is a less positive ranking: the Dodgers are #3 on our list of Baseball Teams with the Worst Fans, which has 34K votes. The only teams with more irritating fanbases in the MLB are the Yankees and Red Sox. But take heart, Dodger fans: your team is also #3 on our list of the Best Baseball Teams of All Time…also right behind the Yankees and Red Sox. To baseball viewers, it seems as if the better your team is, the more annoying you become as a fan.

Finally, it’s worth noting that the Dodgers are the #12 pick on The Best Sports Franchises of All Time, a highly competitive and comprehensive list featuring over 32K votes from 4,000 people. It’s a high honor to be included in the Top 20, though LA sports fans will notice that the baseball club is far behind the Los Angeles Lakers, who rank at #4.
